2013 Summer Junior Wildcat Basketball League

 *AGE AS OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2012

Training League For 6 and 7 year olds. Great for first year players. There will be 5 (7 minute) periods and players will use a 28.5 ball and play on 9 foot goals. Our officials are allowed to help players. See Training League rules here.

Rookie League For 8 and 9 year olds. Players in this league will play with a 28.5 ball and on a 10 foot goal. Periods are 10 minutes long. NO backcourt defense in the first 3 quarters. See Rookie League rules here.

Junior Varsity League For 10 and 11 year olds. Players will play with a 28.5 ball and on 10 foot goals. There are 4 (10) minute periods. See JV League rules here.

Varsity League For 12 and 13 year olds (14 year olds may play if they are in 8th grade). Players play with a 29.5 ball. KY HS rules followed. See Varsity League rules here.

League Details

12 games, 8 practices and a single-elimination tourney.

Players will attend a brief evaluation.........Please see the evaluation dates below.

All games/practices are either on a Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays.

Practices begin the last week of June.

Player Evaluations:

Training League - June 18 at 6:00 p.m.
Rookie League - June 18 at 7:30 p.m.
Junior Varsity League - June 19 at 6:00 p.m.
Varsity League - June 20 at 6:00 p.m.

Games begin in Early July. Post-season single-elimination tournament begins in mid-late August.

Cost for the league is $175 per player before June 12th ($185 on or after June 12th).
